台灣唯一純種的獨立地下影片展「城市遊牧影展」又來了，今年特別引進了台灣電影界中非常少見的北韓紀錄片。一年一度的「城市遊牧影展」將在今年的四月 27日在台北藝術村開幕，一連十天的舉行，這也是「城市遊牧影展」在台灣的第六屆。

這次參加「城市遊牧影展」的影片分為六大主題( 地方紀錄、鏡困亞洲、鯨豚…等等)，內容涵蓋了各種有趣的、實驗的，甚至是奇怪的長短片，曾在 2006年參加台北雙年展的吳俊輝導演也有策劃兩部精彩短片節目參展，這次主辦單位廣招台灣以及國外的地下傑出導演們共襄盛舉，最後共有包括台灣、香港、中國、新加坡、菲律賓、泰國、印尼、美國、英國、加拿大等地的七十多位的導演所完成共九十多部影片一起參展，內容相當豐富。

今年的第六屆「城市遊牧影展」有強調了社會概念議題的電影像是談到速食霸主的「卯上麥當勞」、牽扯到近來頗受觀注的樂生療養院以及寶藏巖等社會議題的「樂生活」、「寶藏巖」，同時也特別邀請在北韓有 12年經驗的紀錄片製做人 Nick Bonner到台北來放映他的兩部記錄片，但是在這些嚴肅的議題中，仍然有一些有趣的電影，台灣本土導演林世勇談到台灣 BBS文化的木偶人系列電影、或是暗帶政治諷刺的「全民懂ㄘ」，為整個「城市遊牧影展」帶來些許歡樂的氣氛。

在開幕的四月27 號和28號，「城市遊牧影展」主辦單位會在台北藝術村的室外廣場架設戶外放映區，讓觀眾可以在充斥著商業電影院的台北市區中，再找回一個重溫「蚊子電影院」開放樂趣的電影觀賞空間，這又是個重度電「癮」患者出動的好機會。

在「城市遊牧影展」舉辦的前一週，像是「卯上麥當勞」等等一些主打片會先行播放，如果各位媒體朋友有興趣採訪 Nick Bonner (北韓紀錄片 ) ，吳俊輝 (追趕跑跳碰 ) 、Fanny Armstrong ( 卯上麥當勞 ) 等等電影人的話，歡迎聯絡「城市遊牧影展」 主辦單位。

URBAN NOMAD FILM FEST 2007

Taiwan 's only fully independent underground film festival, the sixth annual Urban Nomad Film Fest, will open on Apr. 27 at Taipei Artist Village, opening a 10-day program. We will screen more than 90 films by more than 70 directors, including six feature films, all sorts of bizarre, experimental and totally new short films, and two programs by 2006 Taipei Biennial artist and filmmaker Tony Wu ( 吳俊輝). We're giving a prize of NT$5000 to gather together the best young Taiwanese film talent. We're also trying to bring underground Taiwanese cinema together with local movements from other countries to create a sense of underground community that is bigger than national borders.

UN07 is this year proud to screen two of the first documentaries made by outsiders inside North Korea. They give a look at life of everyday people inside the "Hermit Kingdom" that's never been seen before. Nick Bonner, the producer, brings a dozen or more years of experience in dealing with the DPRK and will be in Taipei for screenings of his films The Game of Their Lives and A State of Mind on Apr. 26 and 27.
